Carolyn is a Certified Matrimonial Law Attorney in New Jersey,  a fellow of the American Academy of Matrimonial Lawyers and divorce mediator. She prides herself on a pragmatic, no-nonsense approach to resolving family law matters. She has a diverse legal background, focusing on family law after having practiced in several other areas, which helps Carolyn identify issues that are often overlooked in family law matters.

Carolyn graduated from the University of Notre Dame and Seton Hall University School of Law. She is admitted to practice in the State of New Jersey, the State of New York and the United States District Court for the District of New Jersey.

Her memberships include the American Bar Association, Family Law Section; the New Jersey State Bar Association, Family Law Section and the Morris County Bar Association, Family Law Section. She is a Trustee of the Morris County Bar Foundation and a member of the Board of Managers of the New Jersey Chapter of the American Academy of Matrimonial Lawyers.  Carolyn serves on the Morris County Child Support Partnership Committee and has been an Early Settlement Panelist in Morris County for many years.  Carolyn is also a supporter ofcdaly the Battered Women Legal Advocacy project where she volunteers as an attorney for domestic violence victims.  She also serves as a volunteer attorney with the Partners for Women and Justice Clinic.

Carolyn has written an article entitled "College Contribution: A Contrarian View" for the New Jersey Family Lawyer and a chapter entitled "What To Do When Your Spouse Says “I'm Out of Here!” for a book entitled "How to Survive Your Financial Crisis."  She has lectured at continuing legal education courses on child support and college contribution.

Amy Kriegsman
Of Counsel

Amy has been practicing family law for over 20 years, in both New Jersey and New York.  She is a negotiator, a litigator and a mediator.  Amy helps individuals and families through the complex and often emotional process of resolving their matters.  She is direct and compassionate in her approach.

Amy graduated from New York Law School and the University of Delaware, where she received the prestigious Woman of Promise Award.  She is admitted to practice in both New York and New Jersey.

Amy is a member of the New Jersey State Bar Association.  She is active in her community as well, being a member of the Goryeb Children’s Hospital Parent Advisory Committee and the creator and facilitator of the Parent’s Night Program at Goryeb Children’s Hospital.  Amy is also the chair of the Randolph PTO Scholarship Committee and is the Youth Chair at her synagogue.

Dina Mikulka

Dina obtained her bachelor’s degree from Rutgers University with Honors and graduated from Seton Hall School of Law in 1999. Dina was Law Clerk to the late Hon. George W. Parsons, Jr., J.S.C. (99-00) in the Bergen County Family Division.  Prior to obtaining her law degree Dina served as a NJ Probation Officer in the Family Division of the Superior Court and NJ State Parole Officer. 

Following her judicial clerkship, Dina served as a Deputy Attorney General with the New Jersey Office of the Attorney General. The majority of her time at the Attorney General’s Office was dedicated to representing the New Jersey Division of Youth and Family Services (DYFS, now DCPP) in the trial courts of various counties, appellate courts, New Jersey Supreme Court and the New Jersey Office of Administrative Law (OAL). Dina has been directly involved with several cases, which resulted in published decisions.  Dina has also co-authored two articles which have been published in The New Jersey Family Lawyer: Defined Benefit Pensions: The Evolution of Advocacy Concerning What is Often the Most Valuable Marital Asset, (Vol 35, No. 6, June 2015) and The Impact of Changes in DCPP Investigatory Findings (Vol. 34, No. 6 August 2014). 

Dina entered the private practice of law in 2005 focusing exclusively on family law, including DCPP matters, OAL appeals, domestic violence, adoption, alimony, custody and complicated divorce and post judgment family law matters. Dina has been a strong proponent of ADR techniques, including mediation, and is often appointed by the court as a mediator.  She regularly serves as an ESP Panelist and Blue Ribbon ESP Panelist.  Ms. Mikulka is a trained as a collaborative divorce practitioner.  She has been retained as an expert regarding DCPP’s administrative policies and procedures in civil litigation. 

Ms. Mikulka is certified by the Supreme Court of New Jersey as a Matrimonial Law Attorney. She is a member of the New Jersey State Bar Association, was Co-Chair of the Sussex County Bar’s Association’s Family Law Committee (2013-2016) and is a member of the Family Law Executive Committee of the New Jersey State Bar Association. Dina has the honor of serving as an attorney investigator on the District Ethics Committee.   She was elected to her local schoolboard in 2016 for a three year term. 

Dina was awarded Legal Service’s Equal Justice Medal for work on a contested adoption matter and Project Self Sufficiency’s Mosaic Award for her volunteer work in the community related to making forms of ADR, including mediation, more widely accessible.  She has been selected as a Super Lawyer from 2014 -2017.

Francis G. Grather

Francis G. Grather is “of counsel” to the firm. A major part of Mr. Grather's practice involves complex matrimonial litigation. He has developed expertise in the division of marital assets with a special emphasis on pensions and other forms of deferred compensation, alimony, support, custody, premarital agreements, custody disputes and adoption proceedings. He was trial attorney in the case of Marx v. Marx, 265 N.J. Super 418 (Ch. Div. 1993), a groundbreaking case in the area of equitable distribution of pensions and also lead trial counsel and appellate counsel in the Estate of Shinn, 394 N.J. Super. 55 (App. Div. 2007), a seminal case involving a prenuptial agreement and the interpretation of the “New Jersey Prenuptial Statute”.

Mr. Grather is a member of the American Academy of Matrimonial Lawyers and a Charter Member of the New Jersey Chapter of that organization. He has been certified by the Supreme Court of New Jersey as a Matrimonial Law Attorney.

Mr. Grather is a member of the Family Law Section of the New Jersey State Bar Association and the American Bar Association and participates as a panelist for the Morris County Bar Association Early Settlement Program for matrimonial litigation. He is a past president of the Morris County Bar Association. He has also served on the Editorial Board of the Morris Lawyer, the monthly publication of the Morris County Bar Association.

Mr. Grather also represents clients in chancery and commercial litigation and has extensive experience in litigating complex probate matters.

Mr. Grather has been certified as a mediator in divorce matters by the Rutgers University Conflict Management program, is a member of the New Jersey Association of Professional Mediators and is admitted to the New Jersey State Court Roster of Mediators for Economic Aspects of Family Law Cases. He maintains an active association with mental health professionals and family counselors in the field of family law.

Mr. Grather is a graduate of Holy Cross College and received his law degree from Fordham University. He has lived with his wife and family in the Morristown area for over 30 years.
